Welcome to Serial Experiments

There are a lot of stories out there that are broken up and published in little bits.  Television is full of stores you don't get to see all at once.  You've also got comic books and those thin young adult novels with numbers on their spines and web published Stuff of all kinds.  That's serialized fiction.  Most of it is crap, but as you'll learn from reading any newsgroup, 90% of everything is, in fact, crap.  That doesn't mean that serial storytelling itself sucks, though.

We here at the Daemonsong Productions tasting lab have determined that 9 out of 10 of us prefer serial storytelling to anything else out there.  There's something you get when you add time and space into hearing a story that makes it bigger and more powerful.

Serial Experiments is exactly what it sounds like.  We want to play with the form and see what we can do with it.  There aren't a lot of markets out there that let you tell stories in connected bits that don't also demand a lot of things that kill the form in the process.  Serial Experiments' only demand is that the stories published here be made of small pieces that add up to something larger.

Other than that, anything goes.  Enjoy.
